Locanda Ca’ Lucrezia
“Live the genuine Venice”
Locanda Ca’ Lucrezia is therefore, not only a place to stay, it is also a point of departure to discover the extraordinary lifestyle of Venice, a diverse city, unique and of timeless beauty.
At Locanda Ca’ Lucrezia we aim to suggest itineraries and alternative experiences from tours of the typical local bars (called ‘bacari’ in Venetian), Venetian rowing lessons, Venetian cookery lessons and excursions to discover the views and beauty of the lagoon on typical Venetian boats.
The Structure
Essentially run by female management, it is established in a small building located in the historic centre of Venice. The building was recently restructured although, respecting the historic structure and dimensions of the building, it is unfortunately not equipped with a lift. The bedrooms are bright with exposed beams. Aiming to use typical elements of daily Venetian life, the rooms are named after the ‘sestieri‘ (neighbourhoods) of Venice and the plaques replicate the signposts locally known as ‘nizoleti.’ Climbing the stairs you will be greeted by our little gem; a boat running since the 1950’s. We lend particular care to our breakfast service, served in our newly renovated room and small private courtyard, typically Venetian and neighbouring the tall walls of an ancient convent. Locanda Ca’ Lucrezia is the best area to stay in Venice to discover authentic Venice through a unique and unforgettable experience.
Ca’ Lucrezia is very easy to reach: the Hotel is near the Venice Station, Santa Lucia, a few steps from the center and from all the most interesting places.
